Pick Up the Pieces

Making Sense of the Pieces and Seeing God's Hand at Work

Pagbati Kasama!

Several modules of Th12 (and a lot more from the other events that happened in this quarter) may seem like a thousand puzzle pieces that need to be put together so that we can appreciate the bigger picture: what has been learned so far and how all these experiences fall in place.

And so we may want to try to make sense of where we are, what we have gone through and where we are headed. We hope that at some point we will also unravel what we have become as a result of going through this together.

The experience is akin to the Examen of St. Ignatius of Loyola - we look at the pieces of our life with God, one by one, as though we were examining the pieces of a puzzle.

Let's do an examen of the past quarter.

You are invited to spend a few minutes on the following in prayer. We hope to share the fruits of our prayer with our cluster.

  • 1. Be conscious of God’s presence during the quarter.

  • 2. Remember the quarter with gratitude.

  • 3. Be sensitive to your feelings.

  • 4. Pray about one aspect or moment in the quarter.

  • 5. Beg for the grace you need as you anticipate the next quarter.
